Deleting your data

Last updated · 18 August 2026

This page explains how to have your information removed from Thinam, what that removes, and what survives it.

How to ask

Write to privacy@saasforest.com from the phone number or email on the account, or tell the business you buy from and they can request it for you.

Include the name of the business you buy from and the phone number on your account. We need both — the same number may belong to a customer of more than one business on the platform, and we will not delete the wrong record.

What is removed

  • Your name, in both scripts.
  • Your address — block, flat, address line, and any map pin for your door.
  • Every phone number on the account, and its consent record.
  • Any photographs taken at your door.
  • The text of messages sent to you.
  • Any device sign-ins.

What is kept, and why

Delivery, charge, payment and cash records cannot be deleted. They are add-only by design: they are the evidence that settles a dispute about a bill, and a record that can be quietly removed cannot settle one.

What happens instead is that they stop naming you. The entries remain as dates and figures in the business's books, with the identifying information stripped, so the accounts still balance and nobody can tell whose they were.

The business may also be required to retain billing records for its own tax and accounting obligations, and those obligations sit with them rather than with us.

How long it takes

We acknowledge a request within [TO BE CONFIRMED] and complete it within [TO BE CONFIRMED].

If you are a business using Thinam

To close an account and remove your whole book, write to privacy@saasforest.com from the registered owner's address. We will confirm before anything is removed, and you can take a full export first.
